NatLaw President and Founder Boris Kozolchyk has been selected by the Universidad Mayor in Chile to receive the title of Doctor Honoris Causa.
This year NatLaw is excited about participating in the first annual Arizona Gives Day! Arizona Gives Day is a day for Arizonans to come together to make donations to as many nonprofits as possible in 24 hours.
NatLaw and the IFC are currently collaborating with the Ministry of Economy, Industry and Commerce of Costa Rica, and other local Costa Rican offices including the Asociación Bancaria Costarricense and the Sistema de Banca para el Desarrollo, in the creation of a new secured lending framework for Costa Rica.
Under the NLCIFT-IFC consulting contract, NatLaw Senior Research Attorney Dr. Marek Dubovec visited Zambia last week to meet with the drafting committee for the country’s Secured Transaction reform. The committee includes various stakeholders from both the private and public sectors (e.g., the Central Bank, Registries of Vehicles and Companies, Barclays bank, etc.
NatLaw is pleased to announce that in late January 2013, NatLaw Legal Intern and current U of A College of Law student Brad Terry and his team members traveled to the University of Southern California’s Gould School of Law to compete in the Inaugural Ninth Circuit Bankruptcy Negotiation Competition.
