In September 2014, NatLaw Senior Research Attorney Marek Dubovec with the support of the World Bank visited Pakistan to assist in the preparation of a national financial inclusion strategy and to review the draft law on secured transactions for the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP).
On September 22-25, 2014, the 5th Financial Infrastructure and Risk Management Training was held in Rabat, Morocco. NatLaw Senior Research Attorney Marek Dubovec, with the support of the International Finance Corporation, attended and participated as a trainer for two sessions.
NatLaw Senior Research Attorney Marek Dubovec visited Malawi in August 2014 to present a draft report on the review of Malawian agricultural laws that pertain to production, financing, trade and marketing of agricultural products at a stakeholders’ workshop in Lilongwe attended by representatives of many public and private sector entities.
On Friday, May 23, 2014 NatLaw Research Attorney & Development Coordinator Elizabeth Pocock and Board Member Rodrigo Novoa presented at the UA Partner Day at the University of Arizona. Their discussion centered on collaboration and specifically how UA alumnus Rodrigo Novoa helped to facilitate various levels of collaboration between his alma mater and his current institution in Chile.
On June 11, 2014, NAFTA 2022 members Phil Robbins and Carlos McCadden gave a presentation at the 2014 Annual Arizona State Bar Convention in Tucson, Arizona. The panel was organized in collaboration with NatLaw and the Alternative Dispute Resolution Section of the State Bar. Phil and Carlos were joined by NatLaw President and Founder Boris Kozolchyk, who offered welcome remarks. The Panel wa
