NatLaw, along with Consul Ricardo Pineda, co-hosted a discussion panel on cross border lending to Mexico on May 25th at the Consulate of Mexico in Tucson. The panel featured NatLaw President Dr. Boris Kozolchyk, NatLaw Board Member and Professor of Law at ASU Mr. Dale Furnish, Attorney Daniel G. Arana of Fennemore Craig, Attorney David Ruiz of Munger Chandwick, and was moderated by NatLaw research attorney, Ms. Isis N. Isunza. The panel covered topics related to recently implemented reforms in Mexico regarding secured lending and its potential impact, as well as the manner in which lenders can benefit from registering their security interests in the state of the art Mexican Registry of Movable Collateral. The panel was followed by a question and answer session with the panelists and an introduction to NatLaw’s RUG E-Submit Service.
