On July 16, 2013, the United Nations Commission on International Trade Law adopted the UNCITRAL Registry Guide to supplement the UNCITRAL Legislative Guide on Secured Transactions.  As stated in the UNCITRAL Press Release, this Guide provides commentary and recommendations on issues related to the establishment and operation of an efficient publicly accessible security rights registry where information about the potential existence of a security right in movable assets may be registered.   NatLaw participated in the creation of this Guide and project as an observer.  To learn more about the new Registry Guide and its potential effect, view the full Press Release here.
