Carlos Jauregui is a Mexico and U.S. trained lawyer. He holds a LL.B. degree from the Universidad del Noroeste en Sonora Mexico, and a J.D. from the University of Arizona’s James E. Rogers College of Law. While studying for the J.D., Carlos obtained a certificate in International Trade and Business Law. He also interned at the Southern Arizona Legal Aid, Inc. (SALA), where he conducted research on bankruptcy, property, and local Medicaid law. Prior to Law School at the University of Arizona, Carlos worked as a Homeowners Support Specialist with CitiMortgage, Inc., and as a Skip and Trace Collections Specialist for Citicards. In Mexico, Carlos was a staff attorney at Jauregui & Asociados, where he drafted and proofread legal correspondence and pleadings daily, and submitted pleadings to local courts. Carlos regularly volunteers for local events in Tucson, including as a volunteer teacher assistant. He is fluent in Spanish and English.

such as Chapter 7 Bankruptcy, landlord-tenant disputes, property title disputes, and
Medicaid. Communicated with clients regarding case status, including requesting documents
and alerting them of pending hearings.
Conducted research on bankruptcy, property, and local Medicaid law. Drafted inter- office
memoranda on legal issues.
