In late March and early April 2014, the NatLaw Oral Trial Training team conducted a second two-week litigation workshop in Mexico City. The two-week workshop was again organized by the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México as the last part of an eight-month long certificate program on Human Rights and the New Criminal Adversarial Trial of Mexico.

The workshop was attended by a new group of 75 members of the legal and judicial community of Mexico and was made possible due to the support of the U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs. The training, like NatLaw’s many other Oral Trial Trainings and the training NatLaw provided for UNAM in 2013, focused on the use of a hypothetical case and break-out sessions in which participants practiced the trial skills learned.
